『The Gingerbread Man』

I read a book named The Gingerbread Man. I will introduce about this books' story.

One day, there are an old man and an old woman. An old woman made a gingerbread. She named it "Gingerbread man" and she said "It is my little boy!", because the old parents don't have any children. When she was baking it with a gas oven, she could hear little voice in it. She was very surprised at it! When she opened a gas oven, the gingerbread man jumped out from it. And he said "I'm a gingerbread man. I can run!! You can't run as me as faster!" He went out the house and run away. An old woman said "Stop!", but he didn't stop and run faster. She and an old man chased him.

He met a cow and a horse on the him way. "I want to eat you!" They all chased him. Also, he met a fox. "I don't want to eat you. I will help you to run away from then." The fox helped him when he crossed the river. First, a gingerbread man rode on him tale, but him tale was too small for a gingerbread man. Next, a gingerbread man rode him back, but it was too small too. So, a gingerbread man rode on a fox's nose. A fox swam well in the river. A gingerbread man could without wet thanks to him. The old parents, a cow and a horse could overtake them. A gingerbread man was very glad.

However!!
They had finished to cross the river moment a fox raised up a gingerbread man with fox's' nose, and ate him leg!! He said "Oh! my leg!" Next, soon a fox ate him arm. Finally, a gingerbread man was eaten by a fox. It have finished his life... That's all this story.

《Feeling》
I felt interesting when I read till half-finished. However, I was very sad when I have knew ending of this story. I thought that a gingerbread man was very poor to he was told a lie by a fox. Although a gingerbread man believed a fox...
